"Take Only Pictures, Leave Only Footprints"

Who is Joe?

Based in Toronto, Joe is a retired Automotive Executive who now dedicates time to Community Service and many hobbies, one of which is photography.

When Joe captures an image, it’s always with the immortal words of Ansel Adams in mind, “You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography, to all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved”.

Joe captures landscapes, arguably the most challenging genre of photography. The Photographer has to accept the scene, the light, the shadows, and all that lies within the field of view, without the ability to adjust anything, thus evoking the audiences' emotion. A photograph captures a moment in time that’s gone forever and impossible to reproduce.

Being fortunate to have travelled relatively extensively, and having made a thousand photography mistakes, Joe eventually learned the Earth is art, and the Photographer is only a witness.

Joe's hope is that his expressions of art will bring pleasure to you and those whom you share these unique pieces with.
